Looking ahead to the Community Meeting November 14
We are looking ahead to our Community Meeting which will be held on Thursday, November 14 6:30-8pm at the Community Thread office in Stillwater, Minnesota.
Our Valley Community Center Board is so excited to present many positive updates including:
Our Strategic Plan: We have partnered with some outstanding consultants to hone our process, objectives and timeline.
Building Plans & Operational Analysis prepared for by one of our consultants and community center specialists, Ballard*King, who also completed our feasibility study.
Where Are We In Our Process?: We are currently in the capacity building phase of our action plan, and are about to embark on a big capital campaign. We invite anyone who wishes to get involved to please email info@thevalleycenter.org.
Positive Political Support: Board President Dianne Polasik’s message was well received at the Toast & Topics event on October 16th, where she heard enthusiasm from many of the surrounding city mayors.
Strong Community Engagement: We are so grateful for those of you who have already RSVP’d for the meeting. There is a groundswell of demand for a community center, and your enthusiasm is what pushes us to keeps us going. Your community support will bring political support and financial support, which in turn will make this happen! Together we can do this!
