Tonight's Night to Unite Gatherings in the St. Croix Valley

Dear St. Croix Valley Neighbors,

Tonight, communities will come together for National Night Out (aka Night to Unite) to celebrate community: something we are very passionate about! Did you know that National Night Out started in August 1984 as a simple call to turn on porch lights and sit outside? With last night’s rain cooling things down it is going to be a great evening to step outside, gather together, and strengthen connections.

Tonight's Night to Unite Gatherings in the Valley:

Official celebrations are taking place at the following locations:

• Lake Elmo: 6–8pm at Lions Park; 3525 Laverne Ave. N. Lake Elmo

• Stillwater: 5:30–8:30pm at Washington Square Park; 815 S. Greeley St. Stillwater

• Marine on St. Croix: 6-8pm at the Fire Hall; 160 Judd St. Marine on St. Croix

• Bayport: 5-8pm at Lakeside Park 95 Central Ave. 294 3rd St N, Bayport (celebration includes a bounce house, pony rides, llama petting, pizza and a chance to see the Minnesota State Patrol helicopter up close!)

If those locations aren’t convenient for you, we encourage you to roll out your grill or basketball hoop, invite some friends over and cheers to being neighbors in the St. Croix Valley. The valley region is a very special place with a unique ethos, and we are lucky to live here, don’t you think?

Night to Unite is a wonderful reminder that community is built one relationship at a time, and we hope you have a fun and safe night celebrating with your Valley neighbors.

As always, our goal is to ensure that the Valley Community Center reflects the needs, values, and aspirations of the entire community.
